Two juveniles were arrested Monday night after crashing into a cruiser during a police chase in a stolen vehicle in Lewiston.

Police Attempted to Pull Over for Driving Erratically

The Lewiston Police Department said officers tried to pull the vehicle over for driving erratically around 10 pm.

Fleeing Vehicle Crashed into a Cruiser During Police Chase

The suspects attempted to flee and “a brief pursuit ensued and ended when the suspect vehicle collided with a Lewiston Police cruiser in the area of Bartlett Street and Birch Street,” according to Lewiston PD.

Five people got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

Two juveniles were apprehended after a perimeter was established by police.

“During the incident, one of the fleeing individuals discarded what was determined to be a replica firearm,” according to the Lewiston Police Department.
