
Man Arrested after Burnouts, Gun Fire & Police Chase in Maine
A man was arrested and charged after allegedly firing a gun, doing burnouts and a police chase in South Paris, Maine.
Man Made ‘Disturbing” 911 Call
The Lewiston Police Department said Jonathan Blouin made “disturbing comments on a 911 call then fired a gun while doing burnouts.”
Threatened to Drive into Tree
He also threatened to drive his vehicle into a tree. Blouin made the 911 call around 1:10 am Saturday, said WGME News.
Burnouts and Gun Fire
When officers arrived on High Street, Blouin was “doing burnouts and shooting outside of his vehicle window” said Lewiston PD.
Swerved Towards Officers
He then swerved towards officers and police vehicles before driving away and fleeing the scene.
Police Chase
A brief pursuit ended on Main Street and he was apprehended. Police found a handgun and ammo in the vehicle. He was taken to the Oxford County Jail.
Multiple Charges
Blouin faces charges for driving to endanger, refusing to submit to arrest, operating under the influence, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, and leaving the scene of an accident.
