Man Arrested after Police Chase and Fight with Officer in Maine
A 39-year-old man was arrested after fighting with an officer following a high speed police chase in Lewiston.
Fled from Police during Traffic Stop
Police said Christopher Noel from Bowdoin fled from officers during a traffic stop and led them on a high speed chase. The pursuit was called off for safety reasons.
Fight with Officer
Noel was later located sitting in a parked vehicle. He then fought with the arresting officer and was apprehended.
Multiple Charges
Noel was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail and faces several charges including Eluding Police. He was held without bail, said WGME News.
