Two House Fires under Investigation in Maine
Two early morning house fires are under investigation in Lincolnville.
First Fire Caused by Chimney
The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office said the first fire at 13 Old Stone Road was caused by an accidental chimney fire.
Homeowner Escaped First Fire
The homeowner was at home and asleep at the time of the blaze around 1 am Friday morning. No injuries were reported.
Second Fire at Nearby Residence
A second fire started around 8:30 am at 20 Mass Pike while the first fire was being investigated.
Wood Stove Caused Second House Fire
Officials said the cause of the fire was a wood stove. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
