
Police Looking for Suspect after Shooting at Maine Mall
Police are looking for a suspect following a shooting Wednesday at the Maine Mall in South Portland.
One Person Shot at Maine Mall
One person was seriously injured. The South Portland Police Department said “the victim is in surgery and expected to survive.”
Suspect Seen Leaving Mall
The suspect was identified from surveillance footage and was seen exiting the Mall through the food court.
Mall Searched
The Mall was safely evacuated and a “methodical search of the Maine Mall for the shooting suspect proved negative.”
Isolated Incident
Police said it was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public.

Photos were released to the public to help find the shooter.
