Five Teens Arrested and Charged with Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Murder

The Lewiston Police Department said two 16-year-olds, two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old were taken into custody and charged.

Reports of Several Gunshots in Neighborhood

Police responded to numerous gunshots in the area of 125 Pierce Street around 11 pm Saturday night.

Teens Fled the Scene

The teens had fled before officers arrived at the scene.

Police Found Spent Shell Casings Behind Apartment Building

“Officers located several spent shell casings behind an apartment building on Pierce Street. They also discovered multiple bullet holes that had entered a targeted apartment,” said Lewiston PD.

Victims Were Threatened and Warned About Being Targeted

The intended victims told police that they had been threatened and warned they may be targeted.

Five Teens Arrested for Retaliatory Shooting

The five juveniles were apprehended and charged in connection with the retaliatory shooting.

All five were taken to the Long Creek Youth Development Center.
