Man Charged with Attempted Murder after Man Shot in Maine

A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday night and charged with Attempted Murder and Elevated Aggravated Assault after a 21-year-old man was shot in Lewiston.

Ethan Parrilla was taken into custody following the shooting and charged with Attempted Murder, Elevated Aggravated Assault and two counts of Violating Conditions of Release.

Man Shot Following Altercation Involving Several Men

The shooting happened around 6 pm near Bartlett Street and Walnut Street after an altercation involving several men.

Victim had Serious Injuries and was Taken to the Hospital for Treatment

The victim was shot in the leg and transported to Central Maine Medical Center with serious injuries and non-Life threatening injuries.

Witnesses Identified the Suspect After Man was Shot in the Leg

Several witnesses identified Parrilla as the suspect in the shooting, according to the Lewiston Police Department.
