The Portland Police Department said Cole Swan from Yarmouth was taken into custody around 4:32 pm.

Officers saw him involved in a drug transaction in the vicinity of 55 Portland Street.

When police tried to approach him, Cole fled and ran from officers. He was apprehended near 58 Alder Street.
Drugs and Loaded Handgun Seized
Cole was found to be in possession of two grams of crack and a loaded handgun.
Facing Drug and Arrest Charges
He is charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Refusing to Submit to Arrest/Detention.
