Felon Arrested after for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 39-year-old man with multiple felony convictions was arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking after narcotics, a gun and other items were seized in Auburn on Friday.

Jose Mota was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Illegal Possession of a Firearm.
Drugs, Gun, Ballistic Vest and Money Seized
Auburn Police executed a search warrant at 124 Goff Street and 21 Swett Avenue and seized 27 grams of crack, 6.5 grams of cocaine, 15 ecstasy pills, scales, packaging materials, and over $500 in suspected drug proceeds. A ballistics vest, and a .45 caliber Glock handgun were also seized.
Felon with Convictions in Multiple States
Mota “is prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm due to a long criminal history, which includes felony convictions in multiple states,” said Auburn PD.
$25,000 Cash Bail
He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail with cash bail set at $25,000.
