Two men were arrested early Friday morning after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation in Lewiston.

The Lewiston Police Department said 35-year-old Keith Gauthier and 48-year-old David Giasson, both from Lewiston, were taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at 70 River Street.
Drugs and Stolen Firearm Seized
Officers seized approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine, 20 grams of heroin/Fentanyl and a stolen firearm.
Man Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking
Gauthier faces charges for two counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), and Violation of Conditional Release.
Suspect had Outstanding Warrants
Giasson was charged with outstanding warrants for Violating Conditional Release, Aggravated Forgery, and Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer.
More Arrests Possible
Police said more arrests are expected. Law enforcement investigating the case included the Lewiston Police Department, Maine State Police Tactical Team and the ATF.
