
Driver Arrested after High-Speed Police Chase and Crash in Maine
One person was arrested Sunday night after a high-speed chase and crash in Windham and Standish.
High-Speed Chase
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said police attempted to pull the vehicle over on Route 115 in Windham when the driver accelerated and fled.
Vehicle Sped Away Again
The vehicle was later spotted on Route 35 and sped away again, leading police on a high-speed chase into Standish.
Crash at Intersection
The vehicle crashed at the intersection of Chadbourne Road and White’s Bridge Road.
Driver Apprehended
The driver was not injured and was arrested. Name and age were not released.
Charges Pending
Criminal charges are pending. The incident is under investigation.
