Police are investigating after a body was recovered from the Piscataquog River on Thursday morning.

Adult Male Body Recovered in River

The body of an adult male was found around 7:58 am after reports from Second Street in Manchester.

Officials Removed Body

The New Hampshire State Police responded and said “a body that was floating in the Piscataquog River.” The Manchester Fire Department removed the body from the river.

Identity not Released

The identity has not been released as the Marine Patrol investigates. An autopsy will be done by the New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
