48-Year-Old Man Arrested and Charged with Murder in Maine
A 48-year-old man was arrested and charged with Murder after the death of a 43-year-old man in Portland.
Arrested at Walmart and Charged with Murder
Police said Domingus Nobrega from Portland was taken into custody at the Walmart in Scarborough. He was transported to the Cumberland County Jail and held without bail.
Victim’s Body Found by Police
Nobrega was charged after Officers found the body of Matthew Merrick at a residence on Marshall Street, according to WGME News.
Death Ruled Homicide
Merrick’s death was ruled a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner. Cause of death was not released.
Ongoing Murder Investigation
The investigation remains open and more information will be released.
