
A Body and Sunken Boat have been Found in Deep Water in Maine
The body of a missing fisherman has been located and a sunken boat has been found after a father and son went missing at sea.
Sunken Vessel in 160 Feet of Water
The fishing vessel “Sudden Impact” was located in 160 feet of water off Moose Cove near Cutler and Lubec, said the Maine Marine Resources.
Body Found on Sunken Boat
A remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) used sonar and confirmed the boat was found, said WGME News. A body was also believed to be located underwater on the boat.
Missing Father and Son Fishermen
Crews have been searching for father and son fishermen, Chester Barrett and Aaron Barrett, since Saturday when their vessel was reported missing.
Recovery Effort
A recovery effort is underway to determine if a recovery of the body and boat can be done in the deep water.
