
Body Recovered from Sunken Fishing Boat in Maine
A body was recovered Sunday from a fishing boat that sank in 160 feet of water near Trescott.
Father and Son on Sunken Fishing Boat
Father and son fishermen, Chester and Aaron Barrett, went missing on fishing vessel Sudden Impact on January 18. The body was located inside the sunken boat on January 23.
Positive Identification
The Maine Marine Patrol said the body will be identified by the Chief Medical Examiner.
Second Body still Missing
A second body has not been found. Recovery teams are continuing to search the area.
Recovery Effort
The recovery team included the Maine Marine Patrol Underwater Recovery Dive Team, local fishermen, and the Maine State Police.
