35 Firefighters & 7 Departments Fought Fire in Millinocket, Maine
Firefighters battled a house fire for six hours Friday morning that destroyed a garage, damaged neighbors’ homes, camper and boat on Medway Road in Millinocket.
Propane Tanks Nearby
The Millinocket Fire Department said nearby propane tanks were a significant issue as the garage was fully engulfed.
Seven Departments and 35 Firefighters on the Scene
Seven fire departments and 35 crew members were called to the scene to assist with the blaze spreading to a neighbor’s home.
No One Injured
No injuries were reported.
Cause of Fire was Electrical
The Millinocket Fire Department said the “cause of the fire is electrical which started in the garage at 47 Medway Road.”
