Almost 4 Pounds of Meth Worth $150,000 Seized in Sherman, Maine
A 34-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after a traffic stop and 3.8 pounds of meth was seized along with fentanyl in Sherman.
Almost 4 Pounds of Meth Seized in Aroostook County
The MDEA’S Aroostook County Task Force said Timothy Pinkham from Somersworth, New Hampshire was taken into custody on I-95.
Suspect Tried to Dispose of Drugs
Pinkham was pulled over following information he was driving from Massachusetts to Aroostook County with a large quantity of meth and fentanyl. The MDEA said Pinkham tried to dispose of fentanyl during the traffic stop.
3.8 Pounds of Meth and 3.5 Grams of Fentanyl Seized
Agents and Troopers searched his vehicle and seized 3.8 pounds of methamphetamine and over 3.5 grams of fentanyl. A locked container in the vehicle was searched with a warrant and meth was found.
Drugs Worth $150,000
The total street value of the meth was more than $150,000, said the MDEA.
Multiple Charges
Pinkham was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, 2 Counts of Unlawful Furnishing of Drugs, 2 Counts of Unlawful Drug Possession and Operating without a License.
Taken to the Aroostook County Jail
He was transported to the Aroostook County Jail with bail set at $75,000.
