Easton Man Died after Motorcycle & Car Crash in Mars Hill, Maine
A 50-year-old Easton man died Thursday afternoon after a motorcycle and car crashed on West Ridge Road in Mars Hill.
Man Died at Hospital from Injuries
Lance Kierstead was taken to Northern Light AR Gould hospital in Presque Isle where he later died from serious injuries.
Motorcycle and Car Collided at Curve in the Road
The Maine State Police said Kierstead’s 2006 Harley Davidson and a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu collided around 1:07 pm “when the two vehicles met at a curve.”
Women in Car Injured and Taken the Hospital
The driver of the Chevy was 42-year-old Jamie Avery from Easton. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Crash Investigation
The crash investigation is ongoing, said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
