Mapleton Man Injured in Rollover Crash in Fort Fairfield, Maine
A 41-year-old man from Mapleton was injured and trapped in his vehicle Wednesday night after a rollover crash on Forest Avenue in Fort Fairfield.

The crash happened around 8:15 pm in the area of 441 Forest Avenue.
Truck Hit Boulder and Utility Pole
“Marshal Dyer of Mapleton was northbound on Forest Ave in a 2013 Chevrolet pick-up when he went off of the roadway, struck a large boulder then rolled over and struck a utility pole,” said Fort Fairfield Police Chief Matthew E. Cummings.
Driver Taken to Hospital with Injuries
Fort Fairfield Fire Rescue extracted Dyer from the vehicle. He was taken to Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges
Dyer was charged with Operating After Suspension, Violation of Conditions of release.
Police said “Impairment is the suspected cause”
Chief Cummings said “impairment is the suspected cause of the crash and further charges are likely forthcoming pending the results of chemical testing.”
Court Date
Dyer is scheduled to appear in Presque Isle Unified Court on June 5.
