Maine Woman Arrested for Drug Trafficking & Possession
A 39-year-old woman was arrested early Monday morning for Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Unlawful Drug Possession after police seized fentanyl and cocaine in Portland.
Maine Woman Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Possession
The Portland Police Department said Katherine Haskins of Portland was taken into custody around 12:05 am at 155 Danforth Street. There were reports of increased drug activity in the area.
Woman was on Probation
Officers were on patrol and speaking to several people in a vehicle when they determined that Haskins was on probation and was in possession of narcotics.
Fentanyl and Cocaine Seized
Haskins was in possession of 15.2 grams of Fentanyl and 5.3 grams of various types of Cocaine.
Suspect “Ingested” Drugs Found at Jail
Police found more drugs “that had apparently been ingested” when they brought her to the Cumberland County Jail.
Facing Multiple Charges
She is facing charges for Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Drug Possession, Trafficking in Prison Contraband and Falsifying Physical Evidence.
