Fugitive Arrested in Maine after Dragging Two Police Officers
A wanted 29-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Maine after dragging two police officers following a traffic stop in Rhode Island.
Wanted Man Arrested on Warrants
Tyler Perry from Woonsocket, Rhode Island was taken into custody in Turner, Maine by the U.S. Marshals Service, Maine Violent Offender Task Force and the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.
Apprehended in a Vehicle in Maine
“Task Force members were able to identify Perry as a passenger in a motor vehicle and were able to safely apprehend him,” said the USMS.
Fugitive Faces Multiple Charges
Perry is a fugitive of justice and is facing several charges including two counts of felony assault, reckless driving, possession of narcotics, obstruction, and disorderly conduct. He was wanted on two warrants.
