The crash happened near the Saco Drive-In around 3 pm Thursday in the area of Portland Road and Waterfall Drive.

Vehicle Crossed Center Line and Collided with a Dump Truck

The Saco Police Department said the vehicle was going north and crossed the center lane and crashed into an oncoming dump truck.

Route 1 was Closed in the Area After the Crash

Parts of Route 1 were closed in the vicinity of the crash site. Traffic was later reopened.

Crash Under Investigation

Police are investigating the crash. Names and ages of the drivers were not released.
