Man Seriously Injured & Driver Fled after Hit and Run in Maine

A man was seriously injured Wednesday night after a hit and run and the driver fled the scene in Milford.

One Injured after Hit and Run

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office said a truck driven by a female hit a male pedestrian at Freshies on the Run around 8:25 pm.

Driver Left the Scene

The driver left the scene without stopping or helping the injured man. The man was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

Man and Female Speaking before Hit and Run

“The truck involved was caught on store video.,” said the Sheriff’s Office. “Video also captured images of a man speaking with the female driver before she left the parking lot.”

Driver and Truck Located

Law enforcement was looking for the truck. The driver and vehicle were later located.

Crash Investigation

No information about charges were released. The crash is under investigation.
