Man Critically Injured after Hit-and-Run in Maine
Police are looking for information after a man was critically injured following a hit-and-run in Dixmont.
Male Pedestrian Seriously Injured
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said the man was hit on Kennebec Road around 6:45 pm Friday.
Lying on the Side of the Road
Deputies found the man lying on the side of the road with serious life-threatening injuries.
Man Hit by Vehicle
“It was clear from the man's condition and evidence found at the scene that he had been struck by a vehicle,” said the Sheriff’s Office.
Critical Condition
He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
