
Man Died after Officer-Involved Shooting in Maine
One man died Wednesday morning after an officer-involved shooting in Hartland.
Search Warrant and Shooting
Isaac Robinson died at the scene around 5:30 am after a search warrant was executed at 98 Main Street.
Armed with Knife
The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office said Robinson was holding a knife in his bedroom and went toward Deputy William Crawford and Detective Michael Lyman.
Ordered to Drop Weapon
Robinson was ordered to drop the weapon, but did not and moved towards the two deputies. He was shot and pronounced dead at the scene, said WABI News.
Administrative Leave and Ongoing Investigation
Deputies Crawford and Lyman were placed on administrative leave as standard protocol. The Maine Attorney General’s Office is investigating.
