Police Investigating after Woman Found Dead in Maine
A woman was found dead Saturday night on Canaan Road in Hartland.
Sheriff’s Office and Major Crimes Unit
The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit are investigating her death.
Autopsy and Identification
Her body was taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy and identification.
No Threat to the Public
“At this time, there is no known threat to the public,” said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.

The investigation remains open and no additional information was released.
