Four Houses on Fire and Two Firefighters Injured in Maine
Two firefighters were injured and a dog rescued Wednesday after four homes caught on fire in Gray. The fire happened on Sebago Lake around 7 pm on Evergreen Road.
Four Homes on Fire
Two houses were on fire when crews arrived and two more houses caught on fire as crews battled the blaze.
Dog Rescued
A dog was rescued from the flames. No one else was in the homes at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Two Firefighters taken to the Hospital
Two firefighters were taken to a local hospital with heat-related injuries, said WGME News.
Wind and Propane Tanks were an Issue
Firefighters said wind and nearby propane tanks were an issue in putting out the fire.
Maine Fire Marshal’s Investigation
The investigation is ongoing with the Maine Fire Marshal’s Office.
