
Body Located after Search for Missing Man in Maine
The body of a missing 76-year-old man was located Friday morning in Whitefield.

Stephen Schlosser was found dead in a wooded area by Maine Wardens.
Officials Said No Foul Play
“There is NO foul play suspected,” according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Believed to be on Foot and Last Seen at Home
Schlosser had been missing since February 5 around 3:30 pm. He was last seen at his home at 76 Serenity Lane. He was believed to be on foot and his direction of travel was not known.
Medical Conditions Requiring Medications and Known Cognitive Issues
Deputies said he was being treated for a medical condition that requires prescription medication, and he suffers from known cognitive deficiencies.
Aerial Drones and K-9 Teams Used to Locate Man
Drones and K-9 teams searched for him with assistance from the Maine Warden Service and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Description of Missing Man Issued as Part of the Search
Officials sent an alert when Schlosser went missing. He was described as having gray hair and blue eyes with glasses, 5’ 8” and weighing 170 lbs.
