Woman Charged with Arson after Setting Vehicle on Fire in Maine
A 28-year-old woman was arrested Friday for arson after setting a vehicle on fire in Dresden.

The Maine State Police said Stephanie Lamoreau was apprehended on Warren Avenue and charged with Arson, Aggravated Criminal Mischief and Unauthorized Use of Property.
Burned Vehicle Found off the Road
“A vehicle fire was discovered off the Alexander Road” around 7:20 am Thursday, said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
“Fire was Intentionally Set”
The Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the fire and determined it was intentionally set.
Suspect Took Vehicle without Permission
“Lamoreau took a vehicle from an associate of hers without that person’s permission,” said Moss.
Jail and Cash Bail
Lamoreau was taken to Two Bridges Jail in Wiscasset with bail set at $5,000.00 cash.
