Two Men injured after Head-On Collision in Maine
Two men were injured Thursday morning after a head-on collision on Whites Bridge Road in Standish.
Both Men Transported to the Hospital with Injuries
Thirty-nine-year-old Kevin Tibbets from Poland, Maine and 69-year-old Marc Senechal from Standish were taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Driver Fell Asleep at the Wheel
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Tibbets was driving a Dodge Ram truck when he “fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the centerline.” Tibbets collided head-on with a Ford F350 driven by Senechal.
Police: “Alcohol and Drugs Appear to be Factors”
“Alcohol and drugs appear to be factors in the crash,” said the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
