Two Men Found Guilty for Murdering 17-Year-Old from Maine
Two men were found guilty Friday for the murder of a 17-year-old Machias man in November, 2021.
Two Men Guilty of Murdering 17-Year-Old
A Washington County, Maine jury delivered the guilty verdict for Emanuel Ramos from Roxbury, Massachusetts and Juan Ortiz from Concord, New Hampshire.
More Charges
Ramos and Ortiz were also found guilty of robbery with a firearm.
Five People Charged for Murder
Five people are charged with Brandin Guerrero’s murder. Two other men entered guilty pleas. One man is awaiting a trial, said WABI News.
Suspects Tried to Rob Victim of Money and Drugs
The murder happened when the suspects tried to rob money and drugs from Guerrero on November 4, 2021. He had gunshots in his back and leg. His body was found at the Court Street Cemetery.
Murder Weapon Not Found
Police said the gun used in the murder was never found. Investigators found ten fired cartridge casings at the scene of the shooting.
