
Man Arrested & Charged with Murder after Body Found in Maine
A 45-year-old man was arrested Friday night and charged with Murder after a man’s body was found at a residence in Brunswick.
Suspect Made Statements to Police During Disturbance Call
Tanner Dostie from Brunswick was taken into custody during a disturbance call after he “made statements to responding officers that prompted further investigation."
Body Found and Recovered after Search of Residence
As a result, police found a dead man’s body after a search of a residence.

Positive identification and Cause and Manner of Death
The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for a positive identification and to determine the cause and manner of death.
Taken to County Jail and Booked on the Charges
Dostie was transported to the Cumberland County Jail and charged with Murder.

More Evidence Being Collected in Ongoing Investigation
The investigation remains open as police collect additional information.

Maine State Police Assisted by Multiple Agencies and Departments
Multiple agencies are involved in the case including the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South, the Bath Police Department, the Brunswick Police Department, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
