Two Men Fled after Crashing into School Bus in Maine
Police are looking for two men after they crashed with a school bus Friday afternoon and fled the scene in Limington.
Students on School Bus during Crash
There were 13 students on the bus when the crash happened around 2:18 pm on Sokokis Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Car Rear-Ended School Bus
Police said a 4-door sedan rear-ended the bus after the it slowed down at Axelson Road. There was extensive damage to both vehicles.
Suspects Fled the Scene
Two men then got out of the car after the collision and fled the scene on foot into the nearby woods.
K-9 Found Article of Clothing
A K-9 team was brought in and located an article of clothing. The men were not found and are still at large.
Description of Two Suspects
The suspects are described as white men in their 20’s or 30’s, said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety. The investigation is ongoing.
