Two Infants & Three Adults Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Maine
Two infants and three adults were injured Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route One and Montsweag Road in Woolwich.
Car “Pulled into Path” of Oncoming Vehicle
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office said Delores Lake from Woolwich was trying to make a turn onto Route One and “pulled out into the path” of another vehicle driven by Jennifer Therrien from Lisbon.
Two Infants and Two Adults in Vehicle
Lake was the only one in her vehicle. Therrien had two infants in car seats and an adult passenger in her vehicle.
Infants and Adults Transported to Hospital
The two infants and all three adults were taken to Maine Medical Center. Their condition was not released.
Road Closed for Hours
The road was closed for several hours. The crash is under investigation.
