A 28-year-old woman died after falling off a moped and was hit by another vehicle on Route 302 in Westbrook.
Woman Died after Falling Off Moped into Traffic
The Westbrook Police Department said Tatiana Morrell of Windham died at the scene. Morrell lost control of the moped, went into traffic and was hit by a vehicle.
Three Vehicles Involved in the Crash
The moped then hit another vehicle and three automobiles were involved in the crash, said WGME News.
Woman was not Wearing a Helmet
Police said Morrell was not wearing a helmet. The crash is under investigation.
Accident Happened near Town Line
The accident happened around 2:30 pm Friday afternoon near the Windham and Westbrook town line.
