Fire Originated in the Rear of the Garage

“The fire originated towards the rear of the garage. The use of an excavator hindered investigator’s ability to determine the cause of the fire, however a woodstove cannot be ruled out as a possible cause,” said Moss.

Multiple Departments Assisting at the Scene of the Fire

Multiple units assisted the Patten fire department including the Island Falls Fire Department, the Oakfield Fire Department, the Sherman Fire Department, the Stacyville Fire Department, the Mt.
