One Man Died & One Man Charged with OUI after Crash in Maine

A man died Saturday evening and another man was charged with OUI after a motorcycle and car crash in Bethel.

Man Died after Car Pulled in Out in Front of Motorcycle

Police said 61-year-old David Roy was riding his motorcycle on Walker’s Mill Road around 5 pm when a car pulled out of a driveway and collided with him.

Motorcyclist Died at the Scene

Roy was pronounced dead at the scene, said WABI News.

Driver Charged with OUI

The driver in the car, 43-year-old Arin Palmer from Alabama was uninjured in the crash. He is charged with Operating Under the Influence resulting in death and manslaughter.

In Custody and Taken to Jail

Palmer was taken into custody and transported to the Oxford County Jail.
