A 20-year-old man died Monday evening after a motorcycle crash in Raymond.

Seth Hodgkins from Greenwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Three Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash
The three-vehicle crash happened around 7:27 pm in the area of Webb’s Mill Road and Tarkin Hill Road.
Motorcycle Collided with Vehicle
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Hodgkins was riding on Route 85 when he struck a RAV4 driven by 23-year-old Seth Thayer from Raymond.

Motorcycle Hit Vehicle Making a Left Turn
The RAV4 was making a left hand turn onto Tarkin Hill Road when the collision happened.
Man was Ejected from Motorcycle and Died from his Injuries
Hodgkins was ejected from his motorcycle and hit by a GMC Terrain, driven by 55-year-old Christopher Akers from Casco.

Alcohol Does Not Appear To Be a Factor in the Crash
“Alcohol does not appear to be a factor,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Ongoing Investigation and First Responders Assisting at the Scene
The crash is under investigation. First responders included the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Raymond Fire & Rescue and the Windham Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
