A 51-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking after the search of an Airbnb in Portland.
Man Charged with Drug Trafficking after 1.1 Pounds of Cocaine Seized
Raymond H. Teran from Bronx, New York was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking Cocaine, Drug Trafficking Cocaine Base, Illegal Drug Importation and Falsifying Physical Evidence.
MDEA Arrested Suspect at Airbnb
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency took him into custody on Friday at an Airbnb on Emery Street.

Surveillance of an Airbnb was part of the Investigation
The investigation into interstate drug trafficking involved surveillance of the Airbnb. Teran was seen coming and going from the location.
1.1 Pounds of Cocaine Seized and $38,000 in Suspected Drug Proceeds
Agents executed a search warrant and seized over 500 grams of Cocaine (1.1 pounds), 13 grams of Cocaine Base (Crack) and over $38,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

Estimated Street Value of the Drugs was $22,000
Additional evidence of illegal drug importation and sales was also seized. The estimated street value of the drugs was $22,000.
Taken to County Jail and Held on $50,000 Cash Bail
Teran was transported to the Cumberland County Jail and booked. He was held on $50,000 cash bail.

Multiple Agencies Investigated the Drug Case
Law enforcement involved in the investigation was the MDEA’s Cumberland District Task Force, DEA, the Portland Police Department, South Portland Police Department.
