
Missing Man’s Body Found after Motorcycle Crash in Maine
The body of a missing 52-year-old man from Chester was found Tuesday after a motorcycle crash on Bancroft Road in Weston.

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office said Gregory Richard had been missing since Sunday, October 6. He was “last seen in Danforth driving his 2003 Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle.”
Sheriff’s Offices Searching for Missing Man
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office believed Richard was in Weston and asked the assistance of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office.
Body and Motorcycle Found
Richard’s remains and his motorcycle were located off the Bancroft Road in Weston.
Hit a Telephone Pole and Crashed
“It appears that Gregory failed to navigate a turn while traveling north, striking a telephone pole, and came to rest down an embankment,” said Sheriff Peter A. Johnson.
Law Enforcement Investigating
The crash investigation is ongoing. Assisting the investigation was the Presque Isle Police Department Crash Reconstructionist, Danforth Fire Department and Danforth Ambulance service.
