The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office said Terrance Larry was cleaning a ditch on his property when the teen driver struck him.
Teen Driver did not Stop and Left the Scene
The 16-year-old did not stop and left the scene of the crash, according to deputies.

The incident happened on Palmyra Road around 7 pm on Friday.
Man was Seriously Injured and Flown by Helicopter to the Hospital
Larry had serious injuries and was flown by LifeFlight to a Bangor hospital for medical treatment.

Teen’s Parents Saw Information on Social Media
The teen’s parents found out about the crash on social media and realized it was likely their son, said WABI News.
