Six people were arrested Wednesday as part of an ongoing kidnapping, assault and drug trafficking investigation in Waldoboro.

Multiple Agencies Executed Search Warrant in the Early Morning

A search warrant was executed in the early morning at 80 Reef Road by the Waldoboro Police Department, the Maine State Police Tactical Team, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Maine Warden Service.

Ongoing Investigation into Kidnapping, Assault and Drug Trafficking

The warrant was “based on an ongoing investigation regarding an aggravated assault, kidnapping and theft which was alleged to have happened on that property,” according to Waldoboro PD.

18-Year-Old Charged with Assault, Kidnapping, Theft, Terrorizing and Drug Trafficking

An 18-year-old man, Adonis Morel Tavarez from New York, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, theft and terrorizing, aggravated drug trafficking and two charges of unlawful drug trafficking.

Three Men Arrested and Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking

Three other men, 72-year-old Glenn Hardin from Waldoboro and 25-year-old Yendy Zenzof Rodriguez from Massachusetts and 38-year-old Shane Jones from South Thomaston, were arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking and two charges of unlawful drug trafficking.

Two More Men Arrested on Warrants

Two more men, 44-year-old Russell Hardin from Waldoboro and 25-year-old Taylor Meader from Sydney, were arrested on warrants and taken into custody.
