A 43-year-old man died Tuesday morning and three children and another man were injured after a head-on collision in Canton.

Man Died after Head-On Crash

Aaron Hastings of Turner died at the scene of the crash on Route 108. His body had to be extricated from his truck.

Three Kids in Truck

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said there were three kids in Turner’s truck at the time of the crash with ages from 12 to 15-years-old.

Children Injured in Crash

One of the children had a broken wrist, one had neck pain and the other child had minor injuries. All three were taken to Central Maine Medical Center.

Airlifted to Hospital with Serious Injuries

The driver in the car, 19-year-old Jyrrmal Yates from Rumford, had to be extricated from the car with serious injuries. He was flown by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries.

Ongoing Crash Investigation

The crash remains under investigation.
