37-Year-Old Man Arrested & Charged with Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking after a large amount of narcotics were seized in Hiram.
Man Faces Multiple Charges
The Oxford County Sheriff's Office said Mark O’Brien from Hiram was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at 931 Tripptown Road.
Drugs Seized
Police seized 143.6 grams of cocaine, 33.1 grams of fentanyl, 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, 59 doses of suboxone, 10 Oxycodone pills. Drug manufacturing items were also confiscated.
Firearms and Chainsaw Found
Seven firearms and a stolen chainsaw were found at the residence.
Facing Multiple Charges
O'Brien was charged with two counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking, two counts of Furnishing Drugs, three counts of Unlawful Drug Possession, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Firearms by a prohibited person.
Held on $50,000 Bail
O'Brien was arrested and transported to the Oxford County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000.
