40-Year-Old Man Charged with Two Robberies in Maine
A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with robbing two businesses in Skowhegan on Sunday night.

David Alvarez was charged with the robberies and violating seven bail conditions.
Two Businesses Robbed in Two Hours
Police said George’s Banana Stand on North Avenue was robbed around 7 pm and the McDonald’s on Madison Avenue was robbed around 9 pm, according to WABI News.
Suspect Arrested and Court Appearance Scheduled
Police apprehended Alvarez on Monday after an investigation into the crimes. He was expected to make his first court appearance on Wednesday.
No One was Injured and the Investigation is Ongoing
No injuries were reported from either location. The investigation is active and ongoing.
