
Man Charged with Drug Trafficking after Baggies Seized in Maine
A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking after a traffic stop in Skowhegan.
Attempted to Flee in Vehicle
The Skowhegan Police Department said Lucas Gage tried to flee from officers during a welfare check near Holland Variety Drug Store.
Apprehended and Searched
He was taken into custody and his person was searched.
Drugs Seized from Pockets
Police seized three separate baggies of fentanyl from his pockets weighing 10.2 grams, 8.1 grams and 2.7 grams.
Additional Charges
Gage was also charged with operating without a license and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
$10,000 Bail
He was taken to the Somerset County Jail with bail set at $10,000.
