
Man Arrested after Long Police Standoff in Maine
One man was arrested Thursday after an long standoff in Baldwin.
Violating Conditions of Release
Jermaine Faulk was taken into custody and charged with violating the conditions of his release, refusing to submit to an arrest and creating a police standoff.
Routine Bail Check
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said detectives went to his home on Sand Pond Road around 6:30 pm Wednesday for a routine bail check.
Domestic Violence Assault Charge
Faulk was prohibited from being on Sand Pond Road after an aggravated domestic violence assault charge in March. The victim lives at the residence, according to WMTW News.
Crisis Negotiation Team
Detectives tried to communicate with Faulk but could not. The Crisis Negotiation Team was called in and a perimeter was secured. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Arrested and Transported to Jail
Faulk surrendered to authorities Thursday. He was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
