
Man Arrested after Confrontation & Fleeing from Police in Maine
A 54-year-old man was arrested Monday morning after fleeing from police several times and being confrontational with officers in South Paris.
Multiple Charges after Confrontations with Police
Daniel Laflamme from Sabattus faces multiple charges including refusing to submit to arrest, passing a police roadblock, failure to give correct name and date of birth, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating after suspension, and violating conditions of release.
“Suspicious Man” in Vehicle
Police pulled Laflamme over around 6:30 am on John Henry Road after reports of a “suspicious man” in a vehicle, said WGME News.
Confrontational with Officers and Fled
Laflamme was confrontational with officers and refused to exit the vehicle. He then drove away and fled the scene.
Fled a Second Time
He then stopped for police and was confrontational again before fleeing a second time in his vehicle.
Arrested after Fleeing from Police
Police were able to get Laflamme to stop again and took him into custody.
History of Hostility
Paris, Maine Police said Laflamme has a history of hostility with officers.
