Officials said video footage and texts in court records showed the men illegally entered the country.
Using GPS and Go-Pro
Go-Pro footage showed Saleh telling the other men they were on U.S. soil. They had been using GPS and looking for directions to Bangor.
Claimed They Did Not Know They Crossed into the United Sates
The men claimed they were not aware they had crossed into the United States. They told agents they were hiking.
Men Told Agents They Were from the United Kingdom
Border Patrol Agents said the men told them they were from the United Kingdom.
Two Americans Arrested
Two U.S. citizens were also arrested. A signed affidavit said Border Patrol believed the two helped smuggle the men across the border, according to the Sun Journal.
Two U.S. Citizens Were Sitting in Car after Running Out of Fuel
Agents said the two Americans were found sitting in a car that had run out of gas at the end of a driveway at a maple sugar shack, about 10 miles from where the illegal aliens were arrested.

Gun Seized from Vehicle
A 9mm handgun was seized from under the driver’s seat in the vehicle.
Americans Asked for Fuel and Wifi
Maple Sugar workers said the two Americans were asking passers-by for fuel and wifi.

Charges for Two U.S. Citizens Arrested
Charges have not been filed for the two Americans.

The four illegal aliens are facing federal charges for illegally entering the U.S. without inspection.
