Firefighters responded to the scene around 7:30 pm at 822 Main Street. No injuries were reported. Several businesses are inside the building.
Sprinkler System Prevented Larger Fire
Officials said the sprinkler systems helped stop the fire from spreading and destroying the structure.
Racing Paused at Oxford Plains Speedway
The smoke caused Oxford Plains Speedway to temporarily pause racing on Saturday night, said WGME News.
Fire Investigation is Ongoing
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
